A Timeless Wedding Shoot at Castle Pechy, Hermanovce, 2017

In 2017, I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning post-wedding shoot at the historic Castle Pechy in Hermanovce. My colleague Lubos and I were eager to capture the timeless elegance of the couple in this enchanting location. The bride’s makeup was flawlessly done by the talented Patricia Krystynek, adding a touch of modern glamour to the castle’s old-world charm.

The day after the wedding ceremony, the couple arrived at the castle, radiating happiness. The bride wore a flowing white gown, and the groom looked dashing in his classic black tuxedo. The castle’s weathered stone walls and lush gardens provided a multitude of picturesque settings. We started the shoot in the grand courtyard, where sunlight filtered through ancient trees, casting dappled light on the cobblestones. We captured wide shots of the couple hand in hand, their smiles reflecting their joy.

Patricia’s makeup artistry was evident in every frame, enhancing the bride’s natural beauty. As we moved through the castle’s interior, the soft lighting highlighted her flawless complexion and the intricate details of her gown. One of the most memorable moments was in the castle’s library, where the couple shared a quiet, intimate moment surrounded by towering shelves of ancient books.

We concluded the shoot in the sprawling gardens as the sun set, casting a golden glow over the landscape. The couple danced barefoot on the grass, a spontaneous, joyful moment that perfectly encapsulated their love.

The post-wedding shoot at Castle Pechy was a testament to the enduring beauty of love and history. Working alongside Lubos and with Patricia Krystynek’s exceptional talent, we created a collection of images the couple would cherish forever. This magical day at Castle Pechy, where love and art came together, will always be a cherished memory.
