A Journey to Ålesund, Norway
Embarking on a momentous journey, I found myself enveloped in the stunning embrace of Ålesund, Norway, where the play of light and architecture spins a story in every alley. As a proud representative and president of the Association of Professional Photographers of the Slovak Republic (@APF_SR), I ventured into this Nordic gem with a heart full of anticipation and a Leica camera in hand.
The purpose of my visit was twofold: to attend the General Assembly and to immerse myself in the breathtaking landscapes that Norway is renowned for. Little did I know that this trip would exceed my expectations in ways I never imagined.
The highlight of my journey? Being elected to the board of the esteemed Federation of European Photographers (@federationeuropean FEP). It's an honor that I carry with gratitude and excitement for the future, knowing that I have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of photography on an international level.
But the narrative of success didn't end there. As I reveled in the triumphs of our gifted members, I couldn't help but feel a swell of pride for their achievements. Kudos to @ve.shandor.photo for clinching the Gold Camera Award, an accolade truly deserved! And hats off to @tomaspaule.sk for the impressive 8th Place finish – your talents make us all shine.
